They are worth the extra cost 10000% so sturdy and will last us multiple years to come. Just like a regular plate, but my toddlers can’t break it. Never stains! We will be getting more!
I wasn’t sure if this would be heavy enough to prevent my little guy from throwing it to the ground, but so far it’s done the trick. The high edges allow him to grip slippery things that would typically slide to the edge of the tray and out of reach, which is nice.
It washes up really well - just throw it in the dishwasher and you’re good to go.
I wasn't sure about this because our daughter uses every plate and bowl as a frisbee. The suction plates & bowls are garbage too. This plate is FUNDERFUL WONDERFUL AMAZING! She ate her dinner all gone and the plate stayed on the table. Thank you! Blessings.
This weighted plate is perfect for toddlers, we are done with using suctions bowls or plates, so this was a game changer. It's heavy but our toddler has no problems lifting it or carrying it. Also the plate edge is deep, so it will stop any spills, which is a win win. The plate is sturdy and the color cream is beautiful, neutral (so a boy or girl can use it) and aesthetically pleasing. So far it has been easy to clean, not sure about food stains, time will tell. If you have a little one, then you need this bowl/plate.
This plate became my favorite plate to use in feeding my 12 month old son from the first time I used it!! I had used suction plates before, which were great, but there is something about this weighted plate that feels like a game changer.
I love the weight - it isn't too heavy, but just heavy enough to discourage my son from picking up the plate and throwing it. It has the PERFECT edge, so food stays on the plate instead of flying off. The color is to die for (I got blue hour), and it is so very easy to clean!
Truly cannot say enough good things about this plate. Believe me when I say this is worth it!!
